Hello and thank you for visiting! I was born in Richmond, California. My father emigrated from Portugal in 1927. He and my mother, Mary, opened a grocery store in Richmond in 1946 and later expanded to San Pablo and El Sobrante.   Following in my families` footsteps, I owned and operated retail food and spirits stores (People`s Market & Liquors, Inc.) in San Pablo and Rodeo for 34 years.   Also, during this time I personally and as a partner in Carvalho Enterprises, LLC have been involved in numerous Real Estate negotiations and transactions in the purchasing and selling of residential properties, the purchase, lease-back, and sale of model homes from builders, and the development of commercial properties.   It is my goal as your full service real estate professional specializing in the Contra Costa County, Solano County, and Alameda County areas, to provide you with the best conventional and innovative marketing, up to date market analysis information and exceptional service.  My local expertise and Real Estate experience along with my business management and marketing background will benefit you whether you are serious about buying or selling a home at this time, or are a returning client checking out the many homeowner resources I offer.   Buying a home?
